In a time when the cosmos sang with the creation flames of star dragons, the galaxy thrived in a delicate balance. But now, centuries of chaos have unraveled their celestial harmony, and dark forces threaten to extinguish the very stars. As worlds tremble and the abyss whispers of doom, a fearless alliance of the most daring and powerful beings - masters of magic and wielders of cosmic energy - must unite to reignite the slumbering hearts of the great celestial dragons to aid their fading stars. Through swirling nebulae and treacherous voids, the powerful heroes will battle the encroaching shadows that threaten to engulf all. Will they awaken the force that birthed the galaxy and harness the ancient energy to restore the stars or will darkness reign eternal?

The galaxy is out of balance and only the great Star Dragons slumbering within its center can save us. But who will awaken them? Join the courageous Nebula Knights, the mighty Chaos Wizards, the lawless Space Pirates, the playful Cosmic Court of fae and goblins, the mysterious Psionic Felines, and the unrestrained Dragon Cultists as they try and put aside their differences in order to save the universe with dragon fire!

UNIVERSE ON FIRE is a secrets and powers cosmic fantasy adventure that thrums with the FURY OF HEAVY METAL!

This larp will have an original setting and characters and zero knowledge of any inspirational sources is expected. That said, inspirations come from many sources such as from the musical group Gloryhammer, the television series Babylon 5, the video game Mass Effect, etc.

Vibe Check! Forget boring stuff like thermodynamics and electric circuit theory - that weak-ass garbage has zero power here! This is a universe of wonder and magic that EXPLODES from every corner and where impossibility doesn’t exist! Where colossal star beasts with scales like diamonds burn through the fabric of space next to the twinkling lights of cosmic faeries! Where astral knights astride unicorns with manes of living flame charge headlong into battle against cackling chaos wizards whose twisted towers loom over blasted moons! Where stylish void pirates plunder the cosmos, their blades dripping with stardust as they hunt for treasures buried in the hearts of the shattered asteroids called home by psionic catfolk! This universe follows the “rule of cool” where every planet’s breathable air fills your lungs with power and every sky blazes with purple fire and molten gold. And anyone - ANYONE - can ascend a mountain peak, shred an electric guitar solo, and be illuminated by a perfectly timed bolt of lightning!
