Description

Last week your classmate, Arthur Glenchrist, was found dead near the school to multiple stab wounds. There’s no reason to believe it was anything other than an isolated incident, so you’re all still here, at prom, where you have to worry about who’s going to get to be prom king and whether you’ll be able to get a dance with that girl you like. But they never did find out who did it, and over the course of the evening you keep seeing signs that someone is trying to perform some kind of ritual, and people keep making allusions the devil. But surely not, no one here would do that… right?

Double Promicide is a freeform mystery larp set at a high school dance. You’ve played a soapy romantic drama with supernatural mystery elements before, this is one of those! You’ll choose a character who is enmeshed in a network of intrigue and drama and go to work breaking hearts, yearning for your straight best friend, exchanging favors for prom queen votes, and trying to keep your friends and loved ones safe from whatever is really going on here.
Content Warnings
Potentially lethal violence in a school setting; references to cigarettes, drugs, and alcohol; grief; mind control; suicide. Also, the game will very likely ask you to play your character having romantic feelings or attachments to other characters.
