On The Other Side is a live-action game that explores experiences of moving abroad, making new connections, and exploring self-understanding. The game was designed around the themes of identity and crisis and seeks to elicit reflections on the relationship between identity and environment.
Players will take on identities belonging to a fictional country and experience life there before moving abroad to another country, making new connections, and learning about living in a new environment. In the end, both countries experience a fascist takeover, and players are forced to vote on which of their neighbors get to stay as citizens.
